The Dedication Of Baby Timoteyo

This Valentine’s Day, The Plant marked a special celebration of love through the dedication of a precious young life. Baby Timoteyo, the first child of Jean and Maria Hatangimana, was dedicated to the Lord. Recognising their son as a miracle from God, Jean and Maria expressed their desire for him to grow like Jesus. Not just strong and healthy, but in deep relationship with God.

It was a joyful and meaningful day. Jean and Maria invited those closest to them, and attendance doubled. Among the guests were several Adventists, but even more came from non-faith or Islamic backgrounds.

The Plant has long focused on connecting with those already in our lives. We believe God places people around us so we can share the joy of knowing Jesus. Timoteyo’s dedication was a beautiful example of the power of living and sharing our faith with those around us.

As Timoteyo grows, we pray his life will be defined by the love of Jesus and that he will have the courage to share who Jesus is with those around him.
