Perth South Sudanese Company Welcomes New Believers
Perth South Sudanese Company was blessed with new members who made a commitment to unite with the body of Christ between the 1st of February and the 12th of April 2025. These baptisms took place at Sandy Beach in Bassendean and Hillarys Beach, respectively. Among those baptized was a former member of the National South Sudanese Parliament, David Gai Chan, along with his wife, Martha Malual. Also baptized were three sisters from the Badeng family: Aluo, Nyalaham, and Nyanwach; Mary Jongroor; Buomkuoth Lual; two sisters from Joak’s family: Ramkel and Parnah; and from Both’s family: Jiek and his sister Kuothekur.
As is the custom in our church, members dressed in different uniforms to mark this special occasion. Those being baptized wore white baptismal gowns and blue T-shirts featuring a special, uplifting message:
Front: “I am a young Adventist and not ashamed of the gospel”
Back: “The greatest mistake you can make is to die without Jesus”
Spiritual mentors were appointed to support and guide the newly baptized members in their journey with the Lord as part of God’s family.
We say thank you to all the family, friends, and community members who attended and contributed.
May God continue to bless and care for His flock.
