WA Teens Empowered at AUC Chosen 2025

Every second year the AUC Youth Department conduct the AUC Chosen Convention for teens aged 14-16 from across Australia, this year held in Brisbane. AUC Chosen is a 5 day convention that focuses on empowering, equipping, and resourcing attending teenagers whose local church has nominated and recognised their leadership qualities. From WA, we had 8 teenagers travelling with 2 adult mentors that were selected, and travelled to Brisbane to join the other 70+ teenagers and mentors from around Australia. With a range of activities, and seminars with guest speakers and specialists, our WA teens thoroughly enjoyed and are inspired to leading out in creative ways. Caitlin Hanbury from Bickley Church expressed that she is, “…beyond grateful for this incredible opportunity to attend CHOSEN and being able to meet such amazing, inspiring people. I loved every single moment and will cherish this experience forever!”. We appreciate all our churches who are investing in the young leaders of their church community.
