ATSIM Youth Rally

On Friday night and Sabbath of 19 and 20 September, the second ATSIM Youth Rally for WA brought our ATSIM youth together from around the Perth metro, the Carmel boarders, the first year Mamarapha students and Karalundi students who had travelled down for their yearly camp. They came for good food, great worship led by the Mamarapha students and Karla Bidjar Youth and to hear inspiring and encouraging messages by Pr Sean Tavai. The theme for the weekend was “How does God see You?” and Pr Eden Ashcroft ran a great artistic activity on Sabbath morning that made the youth think about how everyone sees each other from a different perspective. The program started with great food and followed the program with yummy milkshakes and snacks. On Saturday evening, the team met together for a fun night of roller skating which cemented the connections that resulted in a wonderful spiritual weekend. It was a wonderful example of collaboration within the WA Conference Discipleship Ministries Team (DMT) to organise and mentor WA ATSIM Youth to lead their own program for the weekend.
