Second Public Notice Regarding Mundaring SDA and Beckenham SDA Community
The Western Australian Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church wishes to inform members and the public that Mundaring SDA and Beckenham SDA Community are not recognised, endorsed, or affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church in any official capacity—locally, nationally, or internationally. It has come to our attention that online platforms and public events associated with these groups have used the names “Seventh-day Adventist” and “SDA”, as well as references, links and advertising in ways that may cause confusion about their connection to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We wish to clarify that:
These groups are not authorised ministries of the Church;
Their content has not been approved by any recognised Seventh-day Adventist Church body;
They have not sourced speakers for events through the official process of service requests;
The use of Church names, branding, or domain references is unauthorised and misleading.
We encourage all members and the public to seek spiritual resources and community through officially recognised Seventh-day Adventist churches and ministries. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Western Australian Conference Office on (08) 9398 7222 or visit our website at www.adventistwa.org.au.
We share this message with a spirit of clarity and care, and with our continued commitment to upholding transparency and unity within the Church community.
We continue to seek an opportunity to work with the leader of these groups to resolve our differences.
