Sea to Summit: Teen Expedition

Our Sea to Summit Teen Expedition was an incredible week for our Pathfinders! We trekked all the way down to Esperance, where our teens faced the challenge of hiking across beaches, bushland, rocky terrain and mountains. Each day stretched them to their limits as they learned to persevere, encourage one another and work as a team.

We were incredibly proud of every single teen—each one finished the expedition, and not a single person gave up! Whenever someone began to slow down, a friend would grab their pack or cheer them on to keep them moving forward. By the end of the week, our group had become a well-oiled machine, knowing each other’s strengths and finding ways for everyone to succeed.

In addition to hiking, our teens took part in a community service day, helping clean up our local school and a youth community shed run by one of our church members. On Friday, they completed an Amazing Race challenge around the foreshore—and were surprised with an awesome boat ride to finish the week!
