A Sabbath Of Unity: WAAAC Gathers For Worship And Fellowship

On 5 April 2025, the WA African Adventist Community (WAAAC) hosted a memorable and spiritually uplifting Sabbath at Carmel Adventist College. Members and friends from across Perth Metro, Peel, and the Southwest regions came together to worship, fellowship, and celebrate their shared faith and culture. The day began with a vibrant morning program of praise, worship, and inspiring messages. Age-specific sessions ensured that children, youth, adults, and seniors all felt included and spiritually nourished. Children took part in fun, engaging lessons, youth had meaningful discussions, and adults enjoyed thoughtful Bible study.. The divine service featured soulful worship led by the local a cappella group Gospel Quartet, followed by a powerful sermon from local speaker Wallace Marumba.

After the service, everyone gathered for lunch, enjoying good food, conversation, and connection.

The afternoon continued with music, testimonies, and panel discussions focused on spiritual growth and unity. Special emphasis was given to promoting the upcoming WAAAC Camp Meeting, set for 7–12 October 2025. Organisers used the Big Sabbath to build anticipation, encouraging everyone to mark their calendars and sharing highlights of what to expect.

The Big Sabbath was a resounding success, reflecting the strength, unity, and spiritual vitality of the WAAAC community. It was not only a day of worship and fellowship but also a launchpad for future events that aim to uplift and connect believers.
