Calvary to Pentecost: The Weekends That Changed the World

Peter Roennfeldt

Two weekends that brought profound change to the world. The first was marked by Jesus’ death and resurrection, the next by His Spirit’s presence and anointing. The climax and transitions represented by the events of these weekends—and the 50 days between—transformed the biblical narrative, reframed God’s involvement with us, and released fresh opportunities for us to experience Him.

The 50 devotional readings in this book explore the intrigue, tragedy and excitement of this period to inspire you in your relationship with God and empower you in your ministry. Calvary prepared the way for Pentecost—and for us.

This book is awesome—readable, engaging, simple yet profound, and on point for our time!
— Terry Johnson, president, Australia Union Conference

“I have never read anything like this, relating to the full story of Pentecost not just the one day we often talk about. I read this book in one sitting and was touched and inspired. It was a spiritual journey. It amazes me how Peter Roennfeldt shares the story of Jesus with such passion—with such carefully chosen passages telling the core of the story.”

—Atte Helminen, City Pastor, Ministry Coach, Church-Planting Facilitator, Finland

“This book will change your life and I recommend it to everyone. Until reading Calvary to Pentecost, I had not thought of the importance of this time-period. The way Peter Roennfeldt narrates the story brings it so close, making every word of Jesus so significant to me. The deep reflection questions will bring you closer to the presence of Jesus.”

—Maveni Kaufononga, President, Trans Pacific Union Mission

Hunter Chronicles

Amanda Bews & Tony Knight

I’ve just read the final instalment of the Hunter Chronicles, Book 8, Hunter and the High Country Heist. The series finished with the original characters and those they’ve met in the previous books.

There was the expected suspenseful moments, with times to learn along the way. Set in the Snowy Mountains in Victoria, the story captures your imagination. If you love horses and have loved the other books in this series, you will absolutely appreciate this last book.
