A Ministry of Presence and Love in Action

Helen Hunter

Deborah Marshall

After a decade of dedicated service, Adventist Care farewells Helen Hunter with deep gratitude for her leadership, care, and steadfast heart. Helen guided our team through some significant challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the enormous transition from Sherwin to Arrana. Through it all, she has led with compassion and a commitment to the wellbeing of residents and staff alike. Helen’s influence has been more than professional; it has been a ministry of presence and love in action. We are deeply grateful for Helen’s exceptional contribution and wish her every blessing as she steps into the next chapter of her journey. At the same time, we are filled with joy and anticipation as we welcome Deborah Marshall as the new Care Manager. Extensive experience across health and aged care in Australia and New Zealand, and her Adventist upbringing, have shaped in her a heart for service and connection. Deborah is returning home to Western Australia after many years; she brings not only her skills but a spirit of whānaungatanga – belonging and shared purpose. We look forward to seeing how God will work through Deborah as she leads and collaborates with the team, to further strengthen the vibrant, caring environment that makes our community so special.
